Weight Requirements
Combined weight restrictions apply and vary by season. If combined weight for a couple is over 375 lbs, group sunrise or private sunset flights are recommended. Over 400 lbs combined, please contact us before booking.
Age Guidelines
Children under 8 are generally not recommended — they may be startled by the burner sound and can't see over the basket rim. Afternoon flights require passengers to be under 70 and able to climb into the basket unassisted.
FAA Certified
Our FAA-certified commercial pilots have over 3,000 combined flight hours and more than two decades of experience in the Charlottesville region. Perfect safety record.

Cancellation Policy
We reserve the right to cancel any flight due to weather at no charge to you. For passenger cancellations, we require 72 hours' notice. A 100% cancellation fee applies for cancellations within 72 hours for any reason. We will make every effort to rebook your spaces to avoid the fee — the more notice we have, the more likely we can help. Please help us help you!
